Reiki
A quiet hour to put something down. There is nothing to prepare and nothing to explain.

What it is
Reiki is a spiritual healing art from Japan. Its name joins Rei, universal life, and Ki, energy, and it is practiced as a gentle channeling of life force energy to the person receiving it. For about a century, practitioners have shared it with hands resting lightly on the body or held just above it. The practitioner is a channel and a steady presence, not the source. Reiki guides itself, so we do not force, fix or direct what happens.
At E+HER HAUS, Reiki is offered as Enkaku (遠隔, en-kah-koo), the Japanese word for distant or remote. Enkaku is not a lesser form of Reiki. It is part of the practice itself, taught as Reiki is learned, and the Reiki tradition holds that the energy is not limited by distance. You rest wherever you feel safe, and I work with the energy from where I am.
Many people find it settling, warm and quiet. Some feel emotion rise and pass, and some fall asleep. No belief is required to receive it. We honor Reiki as a spiritual and complementary practice, and it is never a replacement for medical care.
Who it is for
Someone carrying more than she has words for. Someone between chapters, or in the middle of a hard one.
Someone who wants to be still without having to perform, explain or improve anything.
What to expect
We begin with a short check in. You can name what you want to release, or leave it unnamed.
You settle in and I do the work. There is nothing you need to do right.
We close gently, with time to come back before you go on with your day.
Format and pricing
Enkaku (distance) sessions, no touch, held online. You rest wherever you feel safe and comfortable, and I work from where I am. Choose a virtual session, a phone call, or text, whichever feels easiest for you.
How we connect
We meet on video at the start, then you rest while I work. We come back together at the end to close.
Prefer not to be on camera? We connect by phone at the start and end, and you rest while I work.
No voice or camera needed. You share your intention in writing, and at your scheduled time you rest while I work. Afterward I send you a written reflection.

How to prepare
- Find a quiet spot where you will not be interrupted, and lie down or recline if you can.
- Have water nearby. Silence your phone.
- Come with an intention if you have one, or with none at all.
Why I offer this
I learned Reiki and offered it for free, for love, long before I called any of this a practice. What I noticed is how quickly a woman softens when nothing is being asked of her. This is the hour I wish I had been given years earlier.
Questions
Is Enkaku, or distance Reiki, really Reiki?
Yes. Enkaku is part of the Reiki practice itself. Reiki is traditionally given with a light touch or with hands held just above the body, and the tradition holds that the energy does not depend on physical contact or location, which is why it can be shared at a distance. Many practitioners and clients find Enkaku sessions as calming as in person ones. Your experience is your own, and I never promise a specific outcome.
What will I feel?
Some women feel warmth, tingling or deep calm. Some feel emotion rise and pass. Some feel very little and fall asleep. All of it is normal.
Do I need to be on video or speak to you?
No. You can choose the text option and never speak a word. If you choose a virtual session, you can close your eyes and rest during the session, and I will let you know when we are done.
Is this medical treatment?
No. Reiki is a complementary practice and does not replace medical or mental health care.
What if I need to reschedule?
Life happens. Let me know as early as you can and we will find a new time.
Reiki is a complementary practice. It is not a substitute for medical or mental health care.
